Incidentally, the 42'' softbox is bulky but could be useful when circular catchlights are important, whereas the general choice on location seems the 40'' octabox, which is compact when closed, opens easily, has a shallow profile even when open, and closes easily. Too bulky to tote routinely, the 88'' umbrella, the largest reflector set, and the backdrops, alike a huge flag and huge reflector, may be toted as called for.
